Don't open attachments from strangers or visit websites that fail your security scan.

I keep receiving emails that show they are from my brother, with a link to a Russian site. Hovering the mouse over the sender's name display's a Russian origin. Don't click on any links period.

The only way they could do that is to steal your brother’s password and use his mailing list.

Or, if your brother already changed his password after the hack, they have created an email account that reads almost exactly like your brother’s real email address to trick you.
