I had to ponder this overnight. I wonder if they had DOJ folks with high authority already in the building up near the Director's office to pull off an office search. Certainly that office is secured and staff would have pulled in security. Remember there are a lot of armed agents in that building. This would have been a huge power play....or

What did the Republicans in Congress know about what Comey was doing/was a party to? If Trump was being set up for impeachment, then uniparty Republicans in Congress must’ve been standing by to grease the wheels.
Also, does this mean that the uniparty will be happy to deal with Pence? If so, why? I can’t believe they think they could pull off two consecutive impeachments. So what’s the plan for Pence?

When you're dealing with corruption this high up the food chain, EVERYTHING is viewed as existential.

Yes....it was done that way on purpose. Big company’s do these type of things. Get them in the lobby before they get to their office to destroy things.
