According to a report in Newsweek by Tom OConnor, a Russian hacker who had been detained in Prague at the request of US authorities, was visited multiple times by FBI agents, who pressed him to confess to hacking the Podesta emails at the behest of Putin, and to help Trump. They allegedly (and unsuccessfully) offered generous inducements, to say the least.
Yevgeniy Nikulin, 29, has found himself in the middle of an international dispute between Washington and Moscow, at the very center of which lies U.S. allegations that Russia sponsored a series of hacks targeting Democratic Party candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in favor of Republican candidate and current President Donald Trump. On October 5, 2016, days before U.S. intelligence publicly accused Russia of endorsing an infiltration of Democratic Party officials' emails, Nikulin was arrested in Prague at the request of the U.S. on separate hacking charges. Now, Nikulin claims U.S. authorities tried to pin the email scandal on him.
Nikulin was detained in the Czech Republic for allegedly hacking the servers of major sites LinkedIn, Dropbox and Formspring between 2012 and 2013. While awaiting trial, he claims in an undated letter reportedly given to U.S. Russian-language news site Nastoyashchoe Vremya by Nikulin's lawyer, Martin Sadilek, that the FBI visited him at least a couple of times, offering to drop the charges and grant him U.S. citizenship as well as cash and an apartment in the U.S. if the Russian national confessed to participating in the 2016 hacks of Clinton campaign chief John Podesta's emails in July.

Wikileaks: CIA can make cyberattacks look like they originate from Russia

I have often wondered if the investigation on the supposed Russian - Trump collusion is being prolonged in order to give the deep state time and opportunity for them to cook up false witnesses.
Um... does anyone see how possibly big this story is? There’s enough breadcrumbs in this story that can easily be verified. If true, it means corruption in the FBI at high levels, and more heads should roll.
It also means that yet again, there is no evidence. of any wrong doing on Trumps part.
Wow, that is sobering. Thanks for that fact.
Oh my gosh. Thanks for summing up what really happened with him. Ghastly.
The corruption seems impossible to kill off. Maybe I’m just losing my positive attitude re the swamp.
So far it looks as if Donald Trump may be the only actual LAW ABIDING CITIZEN in this country. I have been convinced for a long time that it is not POSSIBLE to actually live by the law any longer but with all of Donald Trump’s far reaching ventures if the left can’t find anything more than what they are talking about so far he must have found a way to live within the screwed up laws that we have now. How he can do that is beyond my imagining.
I’m sure you’re correct.
I have always wondered about Timothy McVeigh with the Oklahoma bombing. What his “it’ll all be ok” demeanor said to me was that maybe he had a deal with the US govt (CIA, FBI, whoever) where he thought he was going to APPEAR to take the fall, but that they would actually fake his death sentence and reward him for his cooperation. I’m betting that if that was the case, his death was not faked.
At any rate, there were many, many fishy things about the OK bombing that did not add up.
Bump!
