For a Convention of the States dedicated to consideration of a balanced budget amendment, the count is still 29 down, 5 to go.

The Soros machine will kick into high gear. The pressure on legislative choke points, the speakers of houses, and senate majority leaders will be enormous.

"Rebalance state and federal powers" has some appeal, but it's not as good as rebalance citizens' rights vs. federal power AND state power.

But let's hope that the Article 5 Convention of States movement doesn't sputter because of disagreements amongst the petitioning states on what subject matter is to be in play.
