Bangladesh prime minister says Clinton personally pressured her to help foundation donor
by Sara A. Carter - May 11, 2017
While secretary of state, Hillary Clinton made a personal call to pressure Bangladeshs prime minister to aid a donor to her husbands charitable foundation despite federal ethics laws that require government officials to recuse themselves from matters that could impact their spouses business.
The Office of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina confirmed to Circa that Mrs. Clinton called her office in March 2011 to demand that Dr. Muhammed Yunus, a 2006 Nobel Peace prize winner, be restored to his role as chairman of the countrys most famous microcredit bank, Grameen Bank. The banks nonprofit Grameen America, which Yunus chairs, has given between $100,000 and $250,000 to the Clinton Global Initiative. Grameen Research, which is chaired by Yunus, has donated between $25,000 and $50,000, according to the Clinton Foundation website.

Screw it, I’m writing the professor who gave me this drivel as an assignment, and I’m telling him to reconsider including that in his next course (finals just ended).
Selective enforcement is the foundation of tyranny.
You can’t make Hillary accountable to the law without changing our whole system of government.
I am very pleased to notice and mention that this revelation came through the yoeman efforts of Circa News, wherein John Solomon and Sarah Carter are doing the Lord’s Work in the investigative field. And as a dirty OLD man, it has not escaped my notice that Ms. Carter is one gorgeous young lady. She is also loyal, dedicated and smart as a whip! What a fortunate and pleasing combination.
Sooooo? Yep-nothing to see here and no intent to take a bribe.....is Comey in the house?
Formerly, many microcredit programs which had been created long before banks got involved, struggled to grow because they depend on charity for capital that could be lent to the poor.
Yunus spent a great deal of time traveling around the world lobbying to change national banking laws to allow for the creation of microcredit banks.
Whether Yunus was looking at the world through the "rose colored glasses" of socialism or through Quranic prism of Sharia-compliant moneylending ( Muslims cannot lend money for interest ), what Yunus didn't seem to accept - or want to accept - is that banks are not charities. They are businesses. And the purpose of being in business is not to function as a charity. It is to make money.

Perhaps one of the reasons why Obama thought Yunus was a "great guy" was because Obama's own mother, Stanley A. Dunham Soetero, had been one of the "Western pioneers" of microcredit with Peter Geithner ( Tim Geithner's father) when both worked in Indonesia for the Ford Foundation.....at a time when charitable organizations like the Ford Foundation were still the sources of the capital that was being lent to the poor.

Laws are for little people.
The return on the Foundation was much better than Hillary's cattle futures.

Thanks, rxsid.
I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for the mainstream propagandists to report on this important real news story. It’s only “news” to them if Republicans do things like this. Their DNC bosses wouldn’t like them reporting on stories that make a Dem look criminal. Fortunately, the propagandists don’t have a monopoly on how the news gets out anymore.
Attack is the BEST DEFENSE !
Don’t let a free-ride to the libtards who want to destroy TRUMP’s presidency and USA btw
Because other criminals like James Comey and Loretta Lynch were in office. Hopefully after Trump drains the swamp, we can bring these criminals to justice although I wish he would drain the swamp a little faster.
What? Bangladesh? That’s a job for the CIA./s
Did the Russians put a gun to HilLIARs head?
Speaking of Verveer:
(ALEXANDRA CHALUPA’S WAR ON MANAFORT)
Both Shulyar and Chalupa said the purpose of their initial meeting [in April 2016] was to organize a June reception at the [Ukrainian] embassy to promote Ukraine [in Washington]. According to the embassys website, the event highlighted female Ukrainian leaders, featuring speeches by Ukrainian parliamentarian Hanna Hopko, who discussed Ukraines fight against the Russian aggression in Donbas, and longtime Hillary Clinton confidante Melanne Verveer, who worked for Clinton in the State Department and was a vocal surrogate during the presidential campaign.
Shulyar said her work with Chalupa didnt involve the campaign, and she specifically stressed that We have never worked to research and disseminate damaging information about Donald Trump and Paul Manafort.
But Andrii Telizhenko, who worked as a political officer in the Ukrainian Embassy under Shulyar, said she instructed him to help Chalupa research connections between Trump, Manafort and Russia. Oksana said that if I had any information, or knew other people who did, then I should contact Chalupa, recalled Telizhenko, who is now a political consultant in Kiev. They were coordinating an investigation with the Hillary team on Paul Manafort with Alexandra Chalupa, he said, adding Oksana was keeping it all quiet, but the embassy worked very closely with Chalupa.
In fact, sources familiar with the effort say that Shulyar specifically called Telizhenko into a meeting with Chalupa to provide an update on an American media outlets ongoing investigation into Manafort.
Telizhenko recalled that Chalupa told him and Shulyar that, If we can get enough information on Paul [Manafort] or Trumps involvement with Russia, she can get a hearing in Congress by September.
Chalupa confirmed that, a week after Manaforts hiring was announced, she discussed the possibility of a congressional investigation with a foreign policy legislative assistant in the office of Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio), who co-chairs the Congressional Ukrainian Caucus. But, Chalupa said, It didnt go anywhere.
Asked about the effort, the Kaptur legislative assistant called it a touchy subject in an internal email to colleagues that was accidentally forwarded to Politico.
Kapturs office later emailed an official statement explaining that the lawmaker is backing a bill to create an independent commission to investigate possible outside interference in our elections. The office added at this time, the evidence related to this matter points to Russia, but Congresswoman Kaptur is concerned with any evidence of foreign entities interfering in our elections.
