(At :10 Eric Parker).....this is Eric Parker, talking to you from CCA federal detention Pahrump, Nevada. Just wanted to make sure that the, the truth is out there.
And this morning they uh grabbed all of the Bundy, Bundy Ranch defendants and brought us to a meeting. They called it an "attorney visit". When we got down there the attorneys weren't there.
They had brought their own investigative team, they being CCA (Corporation Owning Prison) uh down to talk to us about any mistreatment or any grievances we might have uh.
They set us in the chapel and uh proceeded to try to take us out one by one and record an interview with us. We told them that was not going to be OK with us um that they are basically investigating themselves, which nobody appreciates that and that we would not continue this conversation without our lawyers and the Nye County Sheriff present.
Um they said that they wanted to get to the bottom of it. They basically told us what most corporate types will tell you, they were trying to get to the bottom of things and that they wanted to help and everything else uh.
We know that that's not true. They're just going to investigate themselves so that they can tell the news who's obviously asking due to the coverage from the protest going on that they investigated and are handling it accordingly or something along those lines.
Uh so we told them we would love to talk to them that we do absolutely have grievances but we would like our lawyers to be present and a third party, being the Nye County Sheriff.
Uh they left pretty frustrated uh and promptly escorted us back to our pods......

Now we learn the reason for their presence. They brought in all the Bundy Ranch-Bunkerville Standoff prisoners, more than a dozen men, gathering them in a room seeking to conduct separate interviews with each of them.
The prisoners refused to be interviewed without their lawyers and the Nye County, Nevada Sheriff present.
They were returned to their cells.
The protests outside the Nevada Southern Detention Center began last week after Ammon Bundy was beaten and chained for 13 hours in a shower stall at the prison, then stripped naked and thrown in a solitary confinement cell.
The protests continue outside and will continue indefinitely.
The Associated Press has now reported on the protest outside the prison.
Sheriff Sharon Wehrly is a pretty good Sheriff but I don’t see her messing with the Feds in a very agressive manner. The prison is a big employer in a very small population county - 42,000 people.
That’s why a prison like that is put in a location like that: to make the local government toe the line due to jobs.
There was no national news coverage of it on what we refer to as Tabloid Six last night, aka nbc.
I might add that they are also affiliated with cnn.
The only news we are getting is via internet and short wave.
Please keep reporting.
Very true. We have several State prisons in Nevada that are in very small towns “to boost economic activity”. Yea I believe that.
I’ve been to Pahrump, Nevada a couple times.
I thought they’d put a prison there cause if someone escaped, where the hell would they go? It is very far from anything but sand.
An added benefit!
Jobs, Jobs, Jobs....an excuse for someone to make a lot of money while they pay the folks who have the ‘jobs’ low wages.
These are Republican type jobs, private contractor for the government. Democrat type jobs are when the unionized government employees do the work.
Both kinds of set ups allow campaign contributions to politicians.
Reps are supported by private contractors, Dems by the unions of government employees.
Big government by alternate means with kickbacks to the major political parties either way.
The Uniparty!
The private owners of the prison have suits trying to interrogate these men without legal counsel? Is this a legal part of their pre-trial rectal exams and incarceration?
This indicates to me the prison owners are in active CYA mode.
This is how far we have come. Welcome to the third world.
