They’re doubling down. The morons are actually doubling down. They’re destroying their own party.
Because they get re-elected regardless of who is in power they are truly one party working for the globalist agenda and who they try to impress is the NYT and the WaPo.
And as expected, the turtle allows this to happen. What a leader!
Collins is so stupid she doesn’t know that democrats consider her their sworn enemy and will destroy anything and anybody to push their Marxist agenda to fundamentally transform our republic into Venezuela.
Well Suzy you don’t do a bad job yourself on holding up an agenda.
This might have a silver lining. Will Senator Collins (Idiot-Maine) finally see the light? The dems aren’t going to give her anything for traitoring her own party, except to use it against her in the next election.
Hard to imagine the Dems could lose Susan Collins.
If I were one of those witnesses, I would check into Trump’s Hotel, stay a few days, then send the bill to Schumer.
Perhaps, Ms Collins, you should stop siding with them so
often......they obviously don’t care what you think, unless you are agreeing with them.
Then, you idiot, stop voting with them.
I know. Ain’t it great? Even some of THEM are beginning to realize it.
All these years the Senator has been playing nice with the Dems and they kick her in the teeth when they get a chance.
Wise up, Susan! They are not your friends and they never will be.
Just as a matter of curiosity, what would you have the Majority Leader do about this.
No, she is from ME and will never “see the light.”
If it was Collins business that was interrupted, it probably should be!
Seriously, not his fault. It is trivially easy for a single senator to disrupt regular order. What holds them back is peer pressure. When one party binds together, the peer pressure angle is gone.
The Senate being simultaneously "in session" and "nearly vacant" is done by unanimous consent.
Republicans Use Objections to Stall Senate Hearings - March 24, 2010

Somehow, I think that if Harry Reid were still in charge and the Republicans were trying this, he'd have changed the Senate rules to stop them toot suite. Similarly if the situation was reversed and Chuck Schumer was the majority leader, do you think he'd allow this to happen? He'd rewrite the rules (and the DemocRATs would pass the changes) faster than you could say "San Fran Nan".
The Dems, being the party out of power, cannot “hold a hearing”. The media is just putting out fake news when they call Dem meetings “hearings.”
