I dont like Tucker’s formula.
His purpose is to expose liberals by giving them enough rope to hang themselves. Their words do often condemn them and expose their hate, hypocrisy, selfisness, meanness and oppressiveness.
But all too often it just becomes a forum for them to espouse their views. Why give them an outlet to spew? If they always ended up looking like utter fools, it would be one thing. But sometimes they have enough skill to sound reasonable or to trip Tucker up.
Tucker is no William F. buckley when it comes to setting traps for his opponents. The method is sound but only if you have a top consevative comunicator like Rush, who can really turn the tables on his opponent. Back in the day when Rush used to take a dozen calls a day, many from liberals, he used to just tie them in knots and rip them a new one, he was such a skilled debater with such an encyclopaedic memory.
I actually think Tucker wins these ‘debates’ soundly - usually by cornering the leftist until he resorts to repeating his rehearsed nonsensical talking points.
The problem I have is that there are apparently no consequences for losing - the loser should be banished. Instead, he invites the same undeserving losers back on the show time and time again.
