Grassley has been out for Comey for a while. He’s apparently been really pissed off over discrepancies between what Comey says in front of the TV cameras and what he says to U.S. Senators behind closed doors.
Some twit on Fox News painting Trump as a hypocritical idiot because he appeared to support Comey a month ago. Krauthammer still around, and still endlessly whining. Bret Baier promoting the idea of an “independent prosecutor” for the non-existent Trump / Russia “scandal,” and quoting Leahy, comparing Trump to Nixon.
It’s funny to watch the media go into full-blown anti-Trump meltdown as they get over the shock of this and get their act together. And this is Fox News! I can only imagine what those leftist idiots on CNN or MSNBC are doing.
Comey has been slow walking the “Russia investigation” to harm POTUS. He’s in CYA mode and paying back the Dems for the Huma email letter, IMO.
