Where have you been? You might want to occasionally see what mainstream “news” outlets are claiming, just to know what the other side is saying. The lefties have been claiming almost non-stop that Comey in his previous testimony before Congress indicated that Trump has been under investigation for ties to Russia since last July (he actually never said Trump himself, but the leftists don’t let facts get in their way).
Trump is trying to make it clear that what Comey told him directly contradicts what the left is claiming that Comey and the FBI were doing (investigating Trump himself). Trump’s smart enough to know exactly how the anti-democratic propaganda “press” will spin this firing and wanted to get his side out first.

I just couldn’t imagine the MSM was still repeating the “Russia, Russia, Russia” pack of lies.
I guess that’s all they got. And they think that repeating a lie often enough will make it true.
