My guess is that he found the BIG lie and it is well documented.

I agree with you. If both the AG and Dep AG are giving you "clear" recommendations to fire someone, they must have the goods on him. Perhaps they were just waiting to get a very large pile of evidence before acting. Seeing as this is the FBI Director, I would think that they would have info on him that would be irrefutable before pulling the trigger. Glad to see this happen, better late than never.
