When President Donald Trump recently told Reuters he misses driving, many were quick to doubt that he'd been behind the wheel of a car for years. Even if Trump has a chauffeur, this criticism will never stick to him the way it stuck to Hillary. If Trump chooses not to drive, its because he's a billionaire who earned enough to afford a chauffeur. Plus he has a regular guy personality (sometimes to the point of crassness). Hillary was the textbook definition of someone who relied on government privileges, like a government-paid-for chauffeured car, to live like royalty. She didn't earn it but acts like she did. He did earn it but acts like he didn't.

There’s a story of Trump driving up to a McDonalds ordering numerous happy meals for the grandkids in the back seat. Staff didn’t know who it was till he pulled up to the window. (It’s rather sad that pops can’t do this any more. He really has given up so many little things)

Former Vice-President Joseph Biden had a similar complaint. The Secret Service wouldn’t let him drive a car.

Trump and his people also knows the fine art of blending in, now more than ever. It goes with the territory if you want to live. Many thought Trumps aircraft would be shot out of the sky when it went to Mexico to meet with their corrupt president. No one ever saw him land because he took a plain wrap unmarked jet. For those in the biz, this is routine.
If he really enjoys driving, I'm sure there will be occasions where he could do so if he really wanted to. It would be easy. Then again, he has his plate full at the moment and driving or cruising around behind the wheel is probably not a top priority of his.☺

I know a very wealthy guy (he and his brother own a company with $1 Billion in sales)
He owns a Rolls Royce, but his accountants and lawyer told him to stop driving and hire a driver instead. Any accident at all and he’s automatically a target for the ambulance chasers, and a Rolls makes him especially obvious. They said if he wasn’t going to stop driving, then at least switch to less conspicuous car.

That is why many who are wealthy and used limos in the past, no longer use limos.
In the biz world they’ve become too flashy, too extravagant and a target. It’s why so many now have opted to use town car type vehicles etc.
The limo industry now seems focused on teen proms, narcissistic celebrities, etc, to be used for anniversaries etc, so people can feel like they’re a queen for a day.
