Finally financially able to contribute again, but when I clicked on the link, I got this: The owner of secure.freerepublic.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

Can anyone re-assure me that it's ok? Thanks.

Thank you very much, Mama Shawna!! It is ok. We use the industry standard sha-1 encryption method but unfortunately, google has decided to ‘deprecate’ sha-1 in favor of sha-2 and firefox is following suit. Our sha-1 certificate is still valid and still in place and our secure server continues to encrypt our transactions just as securely as it always has. You can click the “Advanced” link at the bottom google/firefox’s erroneous warning message to continue to our secure server if you wish. Thanks.
