Emmanuel Macron, the centrist and political newcomer, defeated far-right candidate Marine Le Pen Sunday to win the French presidential election.
With all votes counted, the passionately pro-European Union Macron had garnered 66 percent of the vote to just 34 percent for Le Pen, who had promised a “Frexit” referendum should she win the election.

France just signed it’s own death warrant. When I was in France in the town of Chamonoix, I was dragging bags of climbing gear from the train station to my motel and had frenchies cross the street to yell at me. Don’t know how they knew I was from the USA, but I wouldn’t help them for anything now, ever. F-france.
