House Speaker Paul Ryan (R., Wis.) said on Sunday that House Republicans are on a "rescue mission" for health care.
Ryan spoke with ABC's George Stephanopoulos about the health care legislation passed this week by the House and now before the Senate overhauling major aspects of Obamacare.
"So this is a rescue mission to make sure that we can achieve the goals we all want, which is getting the cost of coverage down and making sure that everyone has access to affordable health care, especially and including people with pre-existing conditions," Ryan said. "That is what our bill does."
Stephanopoulos asked Ryan if he believed that Republicans would suffer in the 2018 midterm elections. Ryan mentioned how repealing Obamacare and overhauling American health care was a promise Republicans have made in past elections and that this was fulfilling a promise to voters.
"I would argue that we would spell disaster for ourselves, politically, if that's your question, if we go back on our word," Ryan said. "This is us keeping our word. But most importantly, it's us trying to fix a real problem that real people are experiencing in this country."

He’s smoking crack.
Socialized medicine will be the end of our Republic. If they refuse to repeal that mess and end the “welfare” healthcare once and for all on all fronts, it’s over. If they would just do the right thing, the economy would shoot into the stratosphere and companies would help provide healthcare to all workers. Those with severe problems would then be eligible for existing medicare. So be it.

We can not compromise. They must be defeated. (globalists, socialists, communists... and wankers like Ryan)
That dingleberrie belongs in a Rescue Mission.
“What an idiot!”
Bears repeating more than twice. That said he is still dangerous.
Actually, he is precisely correct. He proved it by shepherding the consensus through passage.
The emphasis there is the word consensus. Anarchy in hospitals is not the will of the people
Ryno is prepping us for single payer. That’s where all of this is headed.
