No, the cuckoo and the “hoo-hoo” bird are different. I’m pretty sure the “hoo-hoo” bird is some kind of dove. It’s call is similar to a mourning dove but it’s LOUD. Really echoes through the forest.
Yes, Lessa’s kiddos are finally old enough for “the trip”. They’re small cats and don’t look their age, especially Arabelle. She is so tiny! A midget kitty and that makes her cuter than she already is. We had another cat like that for 16 years but lost her a couple of years ago. Everyone thought she was about 5 mos. old. Arabelle looks about 4 mos. and won’t get much larger, if larger at all.
