Indiana’s Butler University is toning down the rhetoric surrounding an anti-Donald Trump course being offered to students this fall.
Students now have the option to sign up for a “Special Topics” class titled “Trumpism & U.S. Democracy.” An initial course description charged the president with “perpetuating sexism, white supremacy, xenophobia, nationalism, nativism, and imperialism.”
ANTI-TRUMP COURSE AT BUTLER UNIVERSITY OFFERS ‘STRATEGIES FOR RESISTANCE’
“This course explores why and how this happened, how Trump’s rhetoric is contrary to the foundation of the U.S. democracy, and what his win means for the future,” read the first description on Butler’s website. The course also promised to “discuss, and potentially engage in, strategies for resistance.”
But by Friday the description of the class, slated to run from August until December, had been moderated significantly.

But Butler isn’t alone in offering anti-Trump classes. A “Resistance School” recently ran at Harvard University. That four-session tutorial ran from April 5 to April 27.
Students at Butler University pay around $36,000 in tuition.

Immediately cease and desist all federal funding to all colleges and universities. With an immediate emphasis on ceasing all Sallie Mae loans.
Trump Derangement Syndrome 101.
Too late, the damage is already done.
I don’t think that these stupid little brats realize just how much they have destroyed any chance of them making a career from their “education”, let alone causing irreversible harm to the reputation of anyone who has a degree from those universities.
The first casualty in progressive education is dignity. The second is intellectual rigor. The third is liberty.
Disappointed in Butler U. I used to have a favorable image of the school.

I was reading some Kent State threads this week. Truly a shame our society is now too pussified to order in the National Guard when needed.
I forgot. Did they offer anti-Obama courses?
I live in Indianapolis, and also used to have a favorable image of them. Leftists in academia have permeated everything good and corrupted it.
Sad but true. Are there any good colleges left? Purdue? Texas Christian?
Mitch Daniels is still President of Purdue. I have to think that as long as he's there, he'll keep the excessively political crap from permeating through campus. He did however, host the third-party Presidential candidate last year (I forget the person's name), as a way to "allow all the voices to be heard."
I don't think Daniels is necessarily a Trump fan, but he wouldn't outright speak badly about him.
Being very helpful, as I am.....I have the Obama course description available....when they're ready.
Butler's Obama course centers on a Kenyan, who pretended to be an American, who stole classified intel to conduct massive spying to protect his party, who looted the US Treasury, who got elected under false pretenses, sealed all his records, depended on people's stupidity and massive bribes to get a healthcare bill.
Obama's a purveyor of chronic self-absorption, butchering babies for profit, black supremacy, hate-America nationalism, Black nativism and half-caste imperialism.
