Thank God I’m not a parent with college age kids. Mortgage your house and future to pay a couple hundred grand to have your kids indoctrinated to hate you and to subsidize this type of BS.

Right now, if Sessions brought a suit against everyone a Freeper wanted him to sue, he’d need a staff of 15,000.

This would be fixed overnight if the State Department stopped issuing F-1 student visas to anyone attending Emory University.

Dealt with Emory in the past. Never the sharpest knives in the drawer.

A Mexican, Canadian, or Brit who follows the law and comes to Emory legally would pay $70k a year, while their brother, sister, or neighbor who came illegally could attend for free. No doubt liberals see nothing wrong with this picture.

Everyone going there and paying tuition should file a class action for discrimination

“Why should a student enjoy a 3.8 or better when others struggle with lower GPA’s?”

One of our younger relatives has gone to an excellent private school for the last 4 years. She has a 3.9 grade average in a highschool that is tough to get A’s. She got a few B’s (her first in 12 years) in some very tough courses with a tough curve.

She was basically getting turned down by any California Universities, she had applied to.

Her mother in a phone call to the latest turndown Cal Univesity admissions office, found out that the university system does not consider where the student went to highschool. They only consider the grade point. The fact that she had been captains on teams, worked at a real job for two years and other accomplishments meant nothing. Only her Grade Point counted.

So our adult relative asked that if her daughter had gone to a Ghetto, Mexican or South American school and had a 4 point from one of them. She would have been considered. The terse answer was yes, and then the woman on the other end hung up.

This young woman was accepted by every out of state school she applied to. The one she was accepted by, will give her a healthy scholarship after her first year.

Her parents with a combined 6 figure income were told if she was accepted at a Cal University, there would be no scholarships. They could use their line of credit and savings to pay for her education.

She didn’t get a single acceptance at a California University in spite of tons of California income, sales and property taxes paid by her parents, uncles/aunts and grand parents.

So those/our tax $’s will probably pay for some illegal with a 4.0 from a banana belt country/school.

And citizens get screwed.

Its a private university, isn't it? I'd say Emory will get screwed when paying students stop going there, and alumni stop supporting the freeloaders.

This is getting complicated. When we fill out paperwork for tuition assistance what ‘oppressed’ party or race am I supposed to claim my child is? I can tell you that my so-called white privilege certainly isn’t going to earn me any freebies.

Why do I bother to pay taxes? Would it help my college age children if I disowned them?

ICE should show-up and arrest all these illegal alien criminals...and deport them immediately.

Alumni donors, your kids have to pay full price if they don’t have a scholarship at Emory, but illegals get a free ride. Seem fair, doesn’t it?
