Trump's complaint wasn't enough?

For what it is worth, Colbert is probably sweating. Lets hope that his fear is real and lasts for weeks and months.

An investigation and sanction would be nice, too.

Trump is not a liberal nor is he a protected species. His complaints are therefore offensive and to be taken only as offense with no other import.

1. Individuals with concerns regarding the content should complain directly to the FCC.

2. Given the court mandated hour restrictions, complaints will probably be dismissed. See quotation below.

3. Pai, although nominated by Obama as a commissioner, filled the “republican” seat on the FCC. Trump upgraded him with a nomination to be the Chairman of the commission.

https://www.fcc.gov/consumers/guides/obscene-indecent-and-profane-broadcasts

“Regarding the safe harbor period, Congress and the courts have instructed the Commission only to enforce the indecency standard between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., local time. - when children are more likely to be in the audience. As a consequence, the Commission does not take action on indecent material aired between 10 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. In this way, constitutionally-protected free speech rights of adults are balanced with the need to protect children from harmful content.”
