Alexander, Corker, Flake, Graham, Hatch, Heller, Hoeven, Murkowsky, McCain, Rubio, Burr, Tillis, Portman, McConnell, Thune, Cornyn, Cochran, Isackson, Blunt, Johnson, Gardner, Toomey, Capito, Fischer, Collins, Wicker are all Cheap Labor Express Republicans.

Some serious Cantorizing is required before they give away the country.

The stupid bill, essentially abdicating Constitutionally given federal executive authority over immigration to the states. It would be a massive give-a-way to Mexifornia, and lead to even greater political fissure within the country.

States keeping track of “guest workers” and “guest workers” remaining ONLY in the state whereto they got the “guest worker” permit? Neither of those ideas are tenable.

He complains that the federal measures have not worked. That’s a giant half truth. The fact is they have not been adequately enforced, when they should have always been fully enforced. Why weren’t they. Local politicians were trying to buy “Latino” votes and didn’t want their POLITICAL ambitions affected by enforcing the law.

I hope Johnson has never been considered a Conservative.

...Unworthy comment by someone who has no idea...

Based on the San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco Metros. Los Anveles County single handedly pushed Hillary to the Three Million popular vote total over Trump. Until there is an Insurection in the rest of the state, there are no foreseeable changes. How am I wrong?

....them would be doing 5% of what Trump's engaged doing?

That is right...President Trump plays 12D chess while others are playing checkers on a blank board

"Sen. Ron Johnson’s legislation..."

"Republican" from Wisconsin. A Paul Ryan crony and uniparty turncoat, looks like.

Do you live anywhere in California? If not, you are not qualified to make any determination as to how we all live here. Your m-r-nic idea that California is some Homogeneous Liberal Blob shows just how little you know about this, or any other state for that matter. Sure, you probably get a personal charge out of talking out of you're you know where, but all it shows everyone is just how ignorant you are. For instance, there was some data posted here yesterday showing the murder rate by county across the country. California has 58 counties. Eight of them had zero murders,35 of them had from zero to nine, but three Southern California counties, including Los Angeles had more than 800. So you see as I said earlier nothing here is homogeneous and all my neighbors a most likely Republicans but I'm not completely sure because I haven't asked all of them.
So here you are writing crap here about something about which you know nothing.
There is this old adage about engaging ones brain before putting ones mouth into gear. That's good advice!

Rep. Ken Buck, Colorado Republican, said he’s writing another version in the House. He said some states are already working on programs, should they get permission from the federal government.

States would do criminal background checks and would be responsible for making sure the guest worker isn’t displacing an American worker.

He said it would be up to the states to keep track of the workers once they’re here.

This has to be one of the dumbest ideas I've ever heard come out of Congress, and that's saying something. The states are going to keep up with the workers they authorize to come in??? Lol.

At least this seems to be a separate piece of legislation and not attached to some major bill, and can be contested separately. I hope so, anyway.

...Do you live anywhere in California...

No. But,Im glad you like it. I’m disregarding all the ugly personal attack you wrote.
My Great, Great Grandfather liked California. He went there in 1850, and returned home with his brother. They brought back $10,000 in freshly minted gold coins. I still have an 1854 liberty head 2 1/2 dollar gold coin. So, it has at least one positive for me personally.

You attack the place where I’ve spent 76 years and you attack me personally. I try not to make those kinds of “evaluations” myself. I don’t always keep that promise, but I try to.

There is no national popular vote. There are 51 State =DC popular votes. President Trump won 37 of those elections, garnering him an Electoral majority. That is the only national vote that counts.

This so-called national popular vote is a farce. It is only a bone of contention when a D loses.

I've been noticing that most of the Trump concern trolls either don't donate to FR (unless they're really shy and stay anonymous). Other than folks not being willing to actually invest in what they claim to believe in, I wonder what else it says about them....

Donate to FR

I notice most folks who think they’re clever enough to point the finger at others who are concerned about Trump (even though we clearly voted and still pray for him), have a hard time combing through posting histories and vetting people.

Your post comes across like Blackmail.

Remember bumper cars? You turn the wheel to the right and the car goes to the left. Politics is like that, we asked for right, we voted right but we head left.

The State department will enable the states to do this anyway. We will find out years later that this was going on all the time. Nobody will be fired and the deep state continues on.

Snowflakes couldn't do it any better.
