In a press release Tuesday, Lambda Legal, a gay, lesbian, transgender and queer legal rights organization, announced the lawsuit, originally filed in March. In the suit, a gay man’s widower and nephew are suing a south Mississippi funeral home, claiming they refused to perform his cremation after discovering he was gay — a claim that funeral home officials strongly deny.
“We just didn’t do that,” Brewer Funeral Home co-owner and manager Henrietta Brewer said through tears during an interview with Mississippi Today. “We just keep saying, ‘Why us?’ We’re the ones that treat everyone good. We don’t even think that, so we’d never say it. And our employees don’t think that either.”

Fast forward to Mississippi 2017 in a case where a pervert was offended and is now seeking big $$$.How will a Mississippi jury vote? I think I know.

Yep. Keep in mind that a court just found for a Catholic Church in the Chicago area which was being sued for firing a homosexual music minister for "marrying" his same-sex partner. The Gaystapo is absolutely furious. This is their return-slap temper tantrum, and it will be extended to everyone who dares to oppose them.
So find another funeral home...if this is even happened. I doubt it did.

I remember hearing about that. Aren’t Churches immune from being sued in situations like that because of the separation of church and state? At least judging from what I read in this article.

The only real option for this funeral home is to level a big countersuit against the litigants for frivolous barratry, filing a suit accusing them of extortion. And definitely include the homosexual organization as one of the parties.
The problem isn’t gay. Reading the article, it’s not even clear that anyone was ever turned away. Seems made up like most of these things are.
my guess is that the funeral home has buried lots of people that are openly gay. all they have to do is go over there records and show that this is nothing but a shake down and then counter sue the person and the organization sponsoring this persecution.

Even a “gay” can recognize, if male, they are neither a “husband” to another “husband” nor to a “male wife”, nor are they a “wife” to a male “husband”. Partners in a couple, yes, but husbands or wives no. And what is wrong with “partner”? Nothing. Ah, but what “partner” does not do is attempt to confiscate the social attributes given to opposite sex marriage for ages. That’s what it is really about, deconstructing the legitimacy of marriage as it has always been known.
