Look at the uninformed opinions on this thread alone, let alone all the others about how Trump “abandoned his base”.
Trump shouldn’t have had a chance at the 2017 budget in the first place, it was Obama’s.
You’re a 100%. Without a fight, Trump is signing and putting into law a bill that Obama would have been proud to sign. In fact his V.P. is on the airwaves bragging about how great it is.

R’s got a dollar for every 22 cents the D’s got. Then the D went out and bragged at what a good deal they got. Trump changed the 1 for 1 military/domestic spending and got military spending increased bigly. Also got more spending for border security, and school choice. All this on a budget that was a second bite of the apple as this was Obama’s budget. Big win.
Glad I watched as I now have a better understanding of what is going on and the perspective of the President.
Restrictions on building the wall, Planned Parenthood fully funded, Non-Domestic Spending will go up, NIH funding up, EPA cut by less than 1%, President got half of what he wanted for military, Obamacare subsidies funded, Immigrant Resettlement funded, No Sanctuary Cities Crackdown, Stopped over 160 Republican Riders, etc... etc...
