At this point I consider Trump’s presidency a failure. The moment he kept Paul Ryan was the beginning of the end. He campaigned one way but lost his nerve when he came into office, what a shame. It was this nations last chance, at this point we need to fall into utter destruction if we are ever to get the takers to realize the error of their ways

He doesn’t have a choice on “keeping” Paul Ryan... Ryan’s a congressman.

“The moment he kept Paul Ryan was the beginning of the end.”

I can’t stand that pompous, arrogant, sorry excuse for a man either. He is a pandering “go along to get along” kind of guy...and besides that he’s ugly...the grown up version of Little Eddie Munster. His ego is too large even to fit into the capital offices.

However, I can understand that he may have done it to continue continuity of the House until he was brought up to speed in office...then make efforts to get rid of him.

On the other-hand, with Trump new to the “routine” in Congress, he was given some very bad advice and did not let the members elect a new Speaker.
