The killer today in Dallas of the first responder and who also shot a police officer was a BLACK PANTHER.
I tried posting that story twice on FR and it was censored.

See the note by Jim Robinson on your 12:02 post of the story.

His comment is that the source must be excerpted.

However it looks as if he edited the post for you and left it active.

Found this in the middle of article in Dallas morning news:

Shooter’s history
The suspected gunman told The News in 2004 that he wanted to empower residents to stand up to the police and fight back as a last resort.
“We’re willing to defend by any cause and every cause,” Brown said in 2004. “If that takes fighting back, Lord have mercy for me on what should happen on the streets, but I’m willing.”
But he also said he wanted to steer away from the militant stereotype of the Black Panthers.
Brown had a lengthy criminal history in Dallas County. He pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and firearms charges.
