When the Chinese man stopped the Chinese tank [many years ago], it was a US News agency that helped identify the man.

I fear this Chinese prisoner might be executed for stuffing this note in the purse.

The note is displayed at the news article site.

In China, one can be arrested for owning a Bible... Such people might be at the prison, which the note describes conditions.

Slave labor at work for WalMart at cheap, cheap, cheap prices, the price of human life in China...

Any store that sells products made in China could have had that note. Wally World is not unique

That woman would have never known where that purse was going to be sold. Most stores in the US sell Chinese made stuff.

In fact, this may all be a big hoax.

Hmmm Sierra Vista is home to Fort Huachuca the army's intelligence school. Graduates of the Defense Language Schools are assigned here.

This may be a hint there could be a hoax here.

A horrifying story if you look at the ‘big picture’. If history was a tiny bit different, that note may have been written in polish or russian or even english.

Hi.

IIRC this type of incident has happened before at Wal-Mart.

Twice I think.

Wally World said they did a “through “ investigation and found it a hoax.

Who knows?

I’ve been to that Walmart.

That’s a nice, rural town.

Once upon a time Wal-Mart prided itself on carrying American-made goods. I sat through a commencement speech in 1985 the gist of which was: “Shop at Wal-Mart because they stock American-made products.” Those days are long gone.

When I was working at a hospital here, we would get donations for bingo prizes for patients. I remember a little keychain with a cedar wood fob which said, “Get us out of here!” on it.

The locally made key chains came from a ranch here....later exposed as a slave ranch where the owner would lure hitchhikers, and vagrants with a job offer, then enslave, torture and murder them. I always wondered about the fate of that keychain maker. Still do.

Anyone remember the Ellebracht Slave Ranch?

I try to avoid buying Chinese made products so I won't be supporting their slave trade. Unfortunately that isn't always possible. The cheapness of their products in quality and price has led also to our throw away society. I miss quality made products that were worth repairing if they broke.

China will never change as long as they are able to keep operating as they are doing.

It works both ways. For years I’ve been taping notes like this to the back of land deeds going to China.

If K-street Lobbyists keep writing our laws, we will be writing notes one day.
