When I was doing some work on the Berkeley campus the boss of the person overseeing my projects was busted for stealing $50K+ of university/state property and their “punishment” was early retirement with full benefits.
That’s truly sickening.
Our money means nothing to the elite. And to unions.
I can’t imagine NY (where i live) and CA teacher save enough while teaching to get 6k a month until they die.
With today’s life span you’re talking 2.5 million over the course of their retirement.
