True. Methodism was simply a movement within Anglicanism.

What’s so ironic is that the author may be correct; the UMC likely won’t do ANYTHING to this woman “minister,” just as they didn’t do anything to the minister who “married” his son to another man.

Real Policy and doctrine is what you find a denomination turning a blind eye to.
