I assume the author is a Satanist, but he's a contributing author.

I was visiting a UMC today and this court decision came up for discussion. It seems the pastors can’t afford to take a stand, one way or the other, as either way, some in the flock will be offended and leave..

None of your business, Huff Po. The Methodist Church doesn’t tell you how to run your satanic site.

Homosexuality is not normal.
If everyone were heterosexual then...nothing. Mankind continues indefinitely.
But if everyone were homosexual then...the human race goes EXTINCT in one generation. That’s not normal.

Failing to post from the article was a good thing. I read the whole thing and feel stupider for bothering. The author may be the most uninformed person on earth.

I guess relying on Das Kapital (or Rules For Radicals) for moral guidance is the way to go.

The author quotes extensively from 1 Romans, so you know he is a real Bible scholar. ;-)

Probably not a “satanist”, but just a faggot. I think God loves them, too. In my mind, they are just broken people. I have mercy for them. I feel so sorry that their lives were so screwed up. I just don’t want them teaching kids, or in the ministry, or holding public office, or crafting legislation. Having said all that, I am all for the marines mowing down everyone attending and participating in the Folsom street fair. Take it back to the closet.

All of us are well aware how the queers that infiltrated the priesthood worked out for the Catholic Church. Even with the evil twisting of the Bible, raping little boys is still unacceptable.

It’s as crazy as turning to “The Baseball Abstract” for baseball statistics! What folly! :)

Do UMC congregations have male preachers anymore? The UMC churches I've visited in recent years all had lady preachers, dolled up with more robe, ribbon, and tinsel than the pope himself. And the favorite theme seems to be "rainbow" colors. What would John Wesley do?

Wait, the Bishop is living in open sin. This isn’t rocket science.

Then those pastors care more about good opinion than about
“The Way., The Truth and The Life.”

Methodist court shows the folly of relying on scripture for moral guidanceThat sounds like a headline one would expect from the Babylon Bee or Lark News. Or maybe National Lampoon in its prime.
