Fyre Festival Leaves Attendees Stranded in Chaos

Attendees of Fyre Festival thought they were paying for a one-of-a-kind experience when they purchased tickets to what promised to be a lavish affair. Technically, they weren’t wrong – but the unique experience which awaited ticket-holders on the Bahamian festival grounds was a bit different than the luxurious, supermodel-filled affair which they’d been promised.

The new festival – run by Ja Rule and Billy McFarland’s Fyre Media company – made headlines upon its announcement through a sponsored content campaign promoted on Instagram by the likes of Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, and Bella Hadid. However, what seemed to be a glamorous gathering has swiftly fallen from grace as Fyre Festival (figuratively) goes up in flames.

Many ticket-holders never got a chance to see the dilapidation onsite at the festival, as all flights scheduled to depart to the destination in the Bahamas have reportedly been cancelled.

Amateurs worry about tactics. Professionals worry about logistics.

Looks like a massive logistics fail ...

It’s still a great deal more filling than the paper cup of granola served up at Woodstock.

So, these rich white kids are dissing the extraordinary nutritional selections of our brave former FLOTUS?!

Actually that looks like it's a picture from one of those horrendous school cafeteria Michelle-Menu offerings, minus the milk carton.

Think of it like ‘burning man’ without the creativity and a big ass mote all around.

“We learned. Beaches are best appreciated from the air conditioned bar...”

I haven’t been to any tropical beaches in the Western Hemisphere, but all the ones I went to in SE Asia were picture postcard perfect. We stayed away from the surfer bum beaches and the ones near large towns and cities, and except for the giant rats in the restaurants, and a few minor thefts, we had great times. Didn’t even get malaria or any of the other local diseases.

There was another epic flustercuck ‘festival’ back in 1994 dubbed the “World Unity Festival”. A massive ego that went by the name of Michael Demartino attempted to organize the event, originally to be held on Hopi land, which didn’t work out. With only days left before the scheduled event, a seemingly random location out in the remote Kaibab National Forest was chose.

About 8000 people showed up, most of them from the city and absolutely clueless on how to survive in a high desert environment. There wasn’t even a water source at the location, but somebody eventually picked up the tab to have a water tanker truck driven to the site.

So here you have all kinds of ‘drainbows’, new age types, young hipsters expecting a rave, many miles away from the nearest town, out in a high desert environment, with zero amenities and very little organization. Somebody spread the rumor that the mushrooms growing in the area were magic mushrooms, when in fact they were Amanita phalloides, otherwise known as Death Caps. Numerous people nearly died after ingesting them, doing massive damage to their livers in hopes of getting high. One guy was dragged into the makeshift medical tent nearly dead, and if it weren’t for the knowledge of a young pre-med student lending a hand by suggesting a few cc’s of IV Benadryl, the trip seeking idiot would’ve died before the med-evac chopper even arrived.

Then to top it off, the Feds decided the event was a perfect opportunity to practice infiltrating the event and play with their latest tacticool gear. This was in the era of Clinton/Reno for perspective. With no electricity on site, once the sun went down, the only light was from the stars, campfires, and the occasional flashlight. Whichever fed agency was playing around there, would come out after dark, dressed in all black, wearing the current version of night vision, and armed with mp5’s with laser sights. Perhaps they thought a bunch of new age-world peace seeking-old hippies were the next best thing to the Branch Davidians.

It’s just another example of an epic fail for a libtard music/peace gathering.

Anybody ever go to a Rainbow Gathering over the 4th of July weekend? This was an annual event happening happening over decades as a follow-up to all with Woodstock nostalgia. Don’t know if they still have them. But having gone to several in the ‘80s, they were way better organized than what you describe even though they were a multi mile hike into the national forest that was chosen for the events.

If I would have only known.

I could have sailed my cat sailboat down and offered “luxury” cabins back to the states. The boat has 4 separate staterooms with a queen sized bed in each stateroom.

I could have slept in a hammock on deck and then once underway, have hot bunked on deck while sailing back.

I think each bed would have bid into the thousands. I wonder what these reasonably rich fools would have paid for a fresh dinner done on the grill before we got underway? I bet I could have rented out a few places on deck too for the liesurely sail back to Fla.
