There’s so much oil and tar off the California coast that it’s not uncommon to pick up tar on your feet when you walk the beach.
Up near Santa Barbara there are a lot of wells. At night it’s interesting to see the oil platform lights off in the distance.
Hey, Californian’s use gasoline. Why should other states be the only ones who can supply it?

There’ll be a ‘gold rush’ of lawyers to California.
The state will be soon be spending more on lawyers than anything else.

.
The tar on the beach north of Santa Barbara used to be much worse before offshore drilling began.
The drilling has reduced the overall level pressure thus reducing the seepage.

I wasn’t aware of that. Thanks for mentioning it.
Are you aware of that big tar bluff just north of Carpenteria?
Right there on the beach, is a bluff and it’s got tar oozing out of it.

The Greenies in Cali should be doing all they can to get those billions of trees logged that died over the extended draught. If they go up this summer, drilling will be the least of their concern.
