Do you understand that if we had not removed Cantor in that primary that the very next day they had planned to pass Rubios amnesty bill in the House?
Yes, I understand. Fast forward to 2016. The only reason that legislation, or something worse, is not being voted on is because we had a miracle in November, President Donald Trump and Vice President Michael Pence.
The logical move is to support President Trump, and those in Congress who support President Trump. That means delivering "wins" on health care and taxes. That means "compromise" to put together a winning majority. Waiting until 2018 to primary conservative and moderate Republicans who are not supporting President Trump is not a good strategy to keeping the House and gaining seats in the Senate. Getting 70-80% of the objective in a "compromise" is better than getting nothing and being discredited in the eyes of the voters. The election was close and Democrats can rebound; the MSM is going to back them for years to come. Republicans need to govern.

The Cantorizing should have happened in 2014 and 2016 and things would be working differently. It is the liberal Republicans that need to be booted, not the conservatives.
