Lighting up America: Judge Roy Moore running for Senate
Conservative Review ^ | 04/26/2017 | Daniel Horowitz

The most important special election of the year, and perhaps in recent memory, is about to unfold in the Deep South in just a few months. This election cuts to the core of the divide within the party.

What we are lacking in the Republican Party

Democrats seek power while Republicans seek office as an end to itself. This is why it’s more important to observe what a candidate is made of rather than what he stands for in the abstract.

Judge Roy Moore is everything we say we want and expect in a Republican politician but have become accustomed to and even content with never achieving. Chief Justice Moore is a man who actually believes in our ideals in heart, mind, and soul — not just sending out scam PAC fundraisers — but actually implementing those ideals in practice. His ascendency to the U.S. Senate would be a game-changer for conservatives of all stripes — not just social conservatives — in a way we have never expected to see. Failure to mobilize will result in the seat of former Senator Jeff Sessions falling to another McConnell yes-man.

We will contribute to this Christian patriot. This nation would be blessed if more men of his character were in our government.

Considering the issues we are facing *right now*, getting ten years of Judge Roy Moore on scotus would be better than 30 years with almost all other candidates. They don’t make them like Judge Moore any more

Odd question to ask in this forum, when a real conservative leader like Judge Roy Moore is a possibility.

Why? What positions does Moore hold that are more conservative than Strange?

What makes Moore better than Gorsuch or William Pryor or Diane Sykes or Thomas Hardiman or any of the other judges on Trump's list?

Moore is a solid conservative Christian, and his leadership (and persecution) on the issues of acknowledging God (Ten Commandments), against abortion, and against Sodomite “whatever” (posing as marriage) is precisely what the Republic needs now. Also, he is absolutely non-compromising on original intent.

We’ll see about Gorsuch.

Luther Strange was appointed by the resigned and disgrace Bentley. Strange slowed Bentley’s impeachment in trade for Sen. Session’s seat. Common knowledge that Strange is a super crook, so when New governor, Kay Ivy took over she moved the election up to get rid of Strange.

Alabama politics and football, always in season!
