My theory has been that this whole second round exercise after the first bill failed in March has been about coming up with a bill that the Freedom Caucus can support, even if it means that not many other people can support it.
It will get the HFC off the hook for being the ones who shot it down, even though it will remain shot down, for better or worse depending on your p.o.v.. I still don’t think deep down anything’s gonna pass, but I try to keep an open mind.
Yeah, we’ve got the most conservative bill possible now, thanks to the HFC.
I expect the Senate to turn it into “Obamacare+” and send it back to the House to be passed by RINO and Democrat votes.
But I try to keep an open mind too.
