First daughter and Special Assistant to the President Ivanka Trump was booed and hissed by an audience in Germany on Tuesday when she attempted to defend Donald Trump's record on women's issues.

Speaking before the W-20 panel on women's issues as part of the G-20 summit in Berlin, the first daughter was met with loud disapproval when she described the president as a lifelong advocate of women.

"That is something I'm very proud of my father's advocacy, long before he came into the presidency, he championed this in the primaries," she said. "He's been a tremendous champion of supporting families and enabling them to thrive."

When Trump criticized the media for covering more than a dozen women's accusations of sexual assault against her father, the room of female delegates could be heard laughing.

"I certainly heard the criticism from the media, and that's been perpetuated, but I know from personal experience, and I think the thousands of people who have worked with and for my father for decades when he was in the private sector are a testament to his belief and solid conviction in the potential of women and their ability to do the job as well as any man," Trump told the crowd.

The audience also burst into laughter when the moderator asked Trump to explain her unconventional role in the White House, where she has a West Wing office and the title of special assistant to the president but no official portfolio.

If you've never heard the expression used in this way,...

I've heard the expression used before. Perhaps some posters are pulling their punches and leaving words out so they are not banned.

It was truly an inspiring experience to see both the before and after photos. The other problem of course is that East Germans were not allowed to leave their country. My official state guide (I was traveling as a journalist writing a story on East Germany’s economy) was an attractive woman in her 30s, I would guess. She wore a bright red beret.

After spending a fair amount of time together, as she took me around the city to meet people to be interviewed, I got to know a little bit about her. She had kidney disease and was on dialysis. She said she wanted to travel to the West but because of this problem she could not.

Of course, she was deluding herself. She could probably get much better treatment in the west. It was her way of convincing herself that she didn’t need to travel. People were literally living in a prison called East Germany.

And, by the way, the East Germany economy was a wreck yet was routinely described as the marvel of the eastern block. Just like those apartment buildings, they were still using machinery from the 1940s and refurbishing it.

One West German economist said that East Germany kept everyone employed by taking a job one man in the West could do and then giving it to ten men and paying them practically nothing to come to work.

The only good thing that came out of this is that the East German embassy in Washington invited me to a reception for Katarina Wit, the beautiful figure skater who had won a gold medal at the 1984 Sarajevo Olympics and would go on to win another one in 1988 in Calgary. She was a stunning beauty in person. Also very vibrant and charming and smile that would knock you dead.

She and Jared should return to NY. If Trump really needs a family confidante, Don Jr. is the one who should move to DC for that. He at least believes in the promises his father was voted in on.

Problem is, the right kind of person wouldn’t move to DC.

But the Democrat and leftist Jared and Ivanka in the WH are an abomination. They have brought in more Democrat and Goldman Sachs horrors and what they have done needs to be undone and they need to be gone.
