Please remember that the Serbs shot down a stealth bomber using human assets to aid tracking. Spies and saboteurs are about so low tech can win a battle within a war.

I'm not so worried about losses in a straight-up traditional battle. The US wins hands-down when its enemies wear uniforms and move in formation. Saddam made that mistake.

I worry more about asymmetric warfare. A suicide attack like the USS Cole seems unlikely, but how about anti-ship missiles launched from a fishing boat? NK has some modern submarines as well...
