Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her 91st birthday today. She is expected to spend the milestone at Windsor Castle.

Clarence House released a photo this morning of the Queen and Prince Charles in 1952 to mark the occasion.

Princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary was born April 21, 1926, in Mayfair. She became presumptive heir to the throne 10 years later with the abdication of her uncle, King Edward VII. At 21, Queen Elizabeth married Prince Philip in a ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

Oh I hope so. Charles would be 76 years old. That would be fantastic and hopefully England will skip him and give it to William. I know that is not tradition but who cares. Things change and Charles would be a disaster to England and the World.

I deplore royalty, the fawning, the privilege. It is undemocratic. It offends by personal philosophy and my sensibility of egalitarianism. I could go on, but perhaps you catch my drift. May I just assume you were around when Madison was president and you are in love with the concept of a king, queen and princesses and so forth?

Are you in the UK, if not perhaps you might relocate to show your support for the concept.

I’ve got to stop feeding my bulldog (American, the original British) so much Alpo.
He’s lying between the missus and me squeezing off these rank, almost visible, clouds of methane.
I may be room temp by sun up.

Yeah Liz likes her Corgis. I imagine that one went to doggie heaven many moons ago. She was pretty hot in her day. Thursday was Hitler’s birthday. He killed his shepherd bitch with a cyanide capsule. I like vanilla.
