"We have an ethical responsibility to warn the public about Donald Trump's dangerous mental illness," said Dr. John Gartner, a practicing psychotherapist who advised psychiatric residents at Johns Hopkins University Medical School and who has in the past warned Trump is a "psychiatric Frankenstein monster."
Gartner and other psychiatrists at the conference argued that Trump suffers from a particularly malignant case of pathological narcissism, which makes him a danger to the country and the world.
"Worse than just being a liar or a narcissist, in addition he is paranoid, delusional and grandiose thinking and he proved that to the country the first day he was president," Gartner explained. "If Donald Trump really believes he had the largest crowd size in history, that's delusional."
Dr. James Gilligan, a psychiatrist and professor at New York University, said that Trump's erratic behavior has similarly disturbed him despite the fact that he has lots of experience working with violent convicted criminals.
"I've worked with murderers and rapists, I can recognize dangerousness from a mile away," he said. "You don't have to be an expert on dangerousness or spend fifty years studying it like I have in order to know how dangerous this man is."

Isn’t it a job requirement?
He suffers from conservatus commonsensium.
“psychiatric Frankenstein monster.” HEH HEH is that a valid Psychological term agreed upon by...say psychiatry experts at Yale conference? This sounds MORE like a diagnose of Obama. The lady doth protest too much, methinks he he
These ae the same people who want to determine if you are “sane” enough to exercise your Second Amendment Rights.
They are apparently working on figuring out what qualifies you to exercise your First Amendment Rights as well.
I wonder what Dr. Bob Hartley would think of President Trump.
I always suspected that the writers of “The Bob Newhart Show” had experienced their own run-ins with shrinks who needed shrinks. The character of Bob Hartley, while supposedly the straight man, had enough problems of his own to warrant an entire conference of psychiatrists.
I think that was the point of the show—to poke fun at how psychologists needed psychiatric help as much as their patients.
Is this like “all” scientists agreeing with the commies about globalist warming?
What unprofessional lunatics.
“Some of the most screwed-up people I have ever met, and their children, are psychiatrists and psychologists. This guy needs to STFU!”
You aren’t kidding. For example, Courtney Love’s Mother was a psychologist and we all know how stable Courtney is.
My college Psychology professor was a nice guy but, at the same time, was very eccentric and quite manic.
I haven’t been in contact with many psychiatrists or psychologists, but the ones I have met weren’t the most stable people.
I know not all are that way but many are. The cretins in this article are themselves in need of help.
Remember, to these creepozoids, anyone who believes and follows the precepts defined in the Declaration of Independence is mentally ill. Anyone who bows and kisses the Clintons are of sound mind and body. President Clinton, or as I have labeled him, the Hillbilly Whorehopper, can serially abuse and attack women, but remain a role model for the rest of the creepozoids.
Reminds me of a lady who would "evaluate" instructors and come up with really stupid rationales to mark them down - when i refused to post her evaluations for a couple of my instructors, my boss and I were called over to the Group Evaluations Office (AFB Instructors) to discuss it.
When she couldn't back up her ratings, she resorted to "I have a trained eye" while actually pointing at her eye. I couldn't help myself - I said, "Make it do something".
She and her boss were livid - my boss managed to not guffaw until we were out of the office.
IIRC diagnosing a person without standard accepted examination techniques would be malpractice.
I’ve had Facebook discussions with liberals who, upon discovering I do NOT live in their closed media information bubble, decide that I”m mental and need serious psychological help. It is fun to laugh at them.
As I stroll past the duck pond I hear the cry, ‘Crack pot, crack pot.’
Some of the most screwed-up people I have ever met, and their children, are psychiatrists and psychologists.

That has been confirmed by numerous studies revealing that the rate of suicide is higher in the mental health professions then in any other profession.
Hasnt this good doctor broken rules of ethics and common decency, by doing a long distance evaluation of an unwitting patient?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Of course he has, but liberal scumbags are everywhere, including in the medical profession.
