Series of antisemitic tweets claim that Kushner is manipulating Trump and leading the United States into war for Israel’s benefit.
Antisemitic invective against Jared Kushner has shot up recently, according to a report by the Anti-Defamation League.
The ADL report, published Monday, documents a series of antisemitic tweets from white supremacists directed at Kushner, an Orthodox Jew and President Donald Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law. The tweets, sent by leading antisemites like David Duke and Richard Spencer, claim that Kushner is manipulating Trump and leading the United States into war for Israel’s benefit.
“#FireKushner No one voted for Kushner,” Spencer tweeted on April 7. “Indeed, many of us voted against people like Kushner having power.” On Saturday, Duke tweeted, “We are being brought down from within. ZIO [Zionist] Supremacists are the true enemy of the American people… not Assad, not Putin. #FireKushner”

“This campaign of anti-Semitism has been driven by white supremacists and anti-Semites and has all the hallmarks of classic Jewish conspiracy theories,’ the ADL wrote in a blog post.
The tweets come in the context of a feud in the White House between Kushner and Stephen Bannon, Trump’s populist chief strategist who used to run the site Breitbart News, which he called “the platform for the alt-right.” As Kushner’s stock has apparently risen in the White House, white supremacists have responded in a number of ways from claiming Kushner is a front man for Trump’s white nationalist views to smearing him as a nefarious adviser who controls Trump.
An ADL report in October found that “more than 2.6 million tweets containing language frequently found in antisemitic speech were posted across Twitter between August 2015 and July 2016.”
Kushner is the husband of Ivanka Trump, the president’s daughter. She converted to Judaism before the couple married in 2009.
You are absolutely correct.
Israel is not the 51st state. The allegiance of any American should be to the USA only. I question the fidelity of any citizen who chooses to retain dual citizenship. Jews are not exempt from this expectation.
The cry of anti-Semitism is sometimes used like the race-card, feminist-card, LGBT-card, etc. Speaking in general, the ADL and others remind me of the Uncle Leo character in Seinfeld, where he sees anti-Semites around every corner.
Yes, there are anti-Semites who hate Jews because they are Jews. There are also people who disagree with Jews because of their positions or questionable fidelity. The latter are not anti-Semites.
Plenty of reason to be worried about Jared and Ivanka’s influence in the WH—without going there.
But note how ADL had to go to the media’s pet former-Klan member in David Duke to even get a mention of Zionism.

This article has no intention to inform, it has only one purpose and that is to paint all opposition to Kushner as Anti-Semitic. It is a mirror image of articles painting opposition to Obama as racist or opposition to Hillary as sexist. This is not 1975. This kind of thing is completely transparent to the public these days. Very stupid attempt.
I am sure that there are some people who are criticizing Kushner in a way that is anti-Semitic. Unfortunately, in a world where Twitter allows everyone a public, national platform, you’re always going to get bigots crawling out from under rocks to attack people for who they are. But that is a fringe, despite what the MSM would like everyone to believe. The real criticism of Kushner, which may be valid, is that he’s liberal and overconfident in his own abilities. That he’s driving Trump Administration policy in a liberal direction that is out of line with what Trump voters expect. That he may be taking things on where he is in over his head and is to arrogant to realize it.
But what the Left loves to do is take the fringe anti-Semitic criticism and apply it to everyone who criticizes Kushner. Its their playbook over and over. Everyone who criticizes Kushner for being liberal is an anti-Semite. Everyone who wants secure borders hates Latinos. Everyone who criticizes BLM is a racist, etc.

The allegiance of any American, and of any human being anywhere and at any time, should be to the One True G-d. Period. No human nation (and yes, this includes the State of Israel) can claim this ultimate loyalty. Anything that attempts to take the place of the One True G-d is an idol, and idolatry is forbidden by the very first commandment to both Jews and non-Jews.
Loyalty to G-d means loyalty to G-d's will in both domestic (the fight against homosexuality and other sins) and foreign (protection of Jews in the Holy Land) policy. There is something extremely sinister when "conservatives" claim that the latter cause somehow undermines the former.
It's also quite depressing--but not surprising--that so many conservatives, even here on FR, see religion as merely an aspect of ethno-culture. Most FReepers defend chrstianity, not as the "one true religion," but merely as something Americans are supposed to practice because "that's what Americans do." Does that mean that Saudis are supposed to be moslems? Indians are supposed to be hindus? Tibetans are supposed to be lamaist b*ddhists???
