Mary McCord, the Department of Justice's acting Assistant Attorney General for National Security who is leading the investigation into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia, is stepping down from her post.
McCord will officially leave her position next month, the Associated Press reports. According to the AP, she is leaving to pursue "other opportunities."

Totally agree with both of you. It’s amazing how some people on here complaining about Session not moving fast enough. FYI you don’t build a complicated case against many corrupt people in the government in 2 months. We all need to be appreciative of what great things happening so far. More will happen. We just have to be calmed.
Hillary, Podesta and the Clinton Foundation will be in the future. He is behind the scenes accumulating solid evidence against them, evidence they can’t weasel out of.
He might take Soros out at the same time. These are dangerous people capable of murdering anyone working against them.
One doesn’t take on this kind of power without dotting every i and crossing every t. He needs solid evidence to ensure that they will pay for their actions & treason.

The FBI’s top investigator on this issue needs to recuse himself or be fired if he does not. His wife is a top fund raiser for the Dim governor of Virginia and the two have many top Dim ties.

Bide your time. It takes a long time to assemble an air-tight case against persons with enormous financial resources and ready backers. There have to be unassailably documented smoking guns. These criminals are lawyers themselves and certainly covered their tracks while they were in commission of their misdeeds. Then there is the bad PR of going after her immediately after a squeaker election. Give Trump time. He is a master strategist. If he is going to lower the boom, it will be when they and everyone else least expects it.
