Fox News Channel ditched Bill O’Reilly on Wednesday following the revelation of a series of sexual harassment allegations.
His accusers—including Juliet Huddy, Andrea Tantaros, and Gretchen Carlson—also tellingly no longer work at Fox News. But the women who never worked at Fox News strike as the ultimate victims. Those who share the chromosomes of the aggrieved parties but not a CV that includes girl-next-door looks, or a rock-star boyfriend, or a Miss America crown don’t, generally, get hired in cable news.
Strangely, the ladies that cable news regards as bringing viewers the most articulate, insightful opinions, cogent analysis, and trusted, steady delivery of information all exhibit a highest common denominator: 10. Even on The Five, viewers see no fives. God apparently blessed the best-looking women with the most desirable attributes in other categories, too.
Sure, ugly people can get on the Fox News Channel—if they’re guys (If you want proof of this, turn it on right now). But it really, really helps to appear really, really good looking if you want a spot on Fox News Channel and you don’t have a penis. The ladies never allowed within the sights of any Fox News Channel camera suffered from the sexism of the TV-news business far more than the on-air talent subjected to leers, propositions, and unwanted comments.
Where’s their multimillion-dollar settlements?
Sex sells, especially on cable news. Ugly women need not apply. Fat women need not apply. Old women need not apply. Hot women? You’re hired.

Yup, Roger Ailes and FoxNews have specialized in female eye candy, and the whole culture has backfired on them. Some of the women are also very bright, some not so much, but certainly most of them have had a certain “babe” looks to some degree. I got tired of all the fake blonde, fake hair early on, though!

Isn’t this the truth. Most of the hotties on Fox are pretty smart (except Marie Harf), still....the fact that ALL are hotties, is rather sad. You cannot tell me that there are some super-intelligent, very well-informed women—who look average. But average-looking females (let alone ugly ones) never make it. Sad.
That should be: “You cannot tell me that there are NOT some super-intelligent, very well-informed women—who look average.”

I think the emphasis on the daring FOX fashions, with neck lines and hem lines practically meeting in the middle, at the navel, to do hard news and panel discussions is a give away to manipulation of the audience.
If true that’s a good thing. It will allow him to get his side out there too.
OANN will need to open up their programming some and allow people to view it online; at least some of it or it will never take off. Right now I can watch FNC 24/7 online for free. OANN needs to get sponsorship that allows them to lose some non paying viewers to build their network profile into the main stream.
I’m really disappointed in these women who cry because some guy at work made a pass at them. Boo freaking Hoo ladies. Grow up and put your big girl panties on. It happens, has always happened, and will probably always happen. Take it as a compliment and move on unless you get raped or stalked; then it’s another ballgame.
The clothing and heels are boring.
Those women would be a lot smarter if they weren’t concentrating on keeping their skirts from sliding up.
So diversity now includes looks? Must pretty girls pay repatriation to plain janes? Is it a hate crime to look at a pretty girl longer than any other woman?
