"We are not going to have a planet if this administration goes on thinking that climate change is a hoax and tries to convince people that climate change is a hoax," she said. "We will not have a planet."Well, this should be fun to watch, here's an old song I like;)

For all of you who keep up hope that California will float out to sea, I give you Connecticut as an alternative candidate. It’s a whole hell of a lot smaller and the number of worthless pieces of human excrement per square foot is way, way greater than anything we could offer up here in CA. Besides, fat illegal aliens, I’m told, float real good!

Scientists and academics in Connecticut and across the country will head out of the labs and into the streets on Saturday Earth Day to confront what one organizer described as a lack of respect for science among some members of Congress and President Donald Trump."Scientists and academics" will head into the streets on Earth Day to demonstrate that they know nothing about the scientific method, and thus make fools of themselves.
It is NOT science to state that we have global warming and it is caused by mankind's uncontrolled emissions of carbon dioxide. And then to "cherry pick" data and events to prove that you are right. Spending billions of dollars to prove that we have AGW is not an application of the scientific method.
Just because carbon dioxide can be described as a greenhouse gas does not mean that we are all going to die. CO2 is needed by plants for them to grow. Carbon dioxide is a trace gas in the atmosphere.
Time would be better spent learning about the real science and issues, and why climate change is FAR from settled science.
Hint: The Sun has everything to do with climate change.

Today, the solitary inventor, tinkering in his shop, has been overshadowed by task forces of scientists in laboratories and testing fields. In the same fashion, the free university, historically the fountainhead of free ideas and scientific discovery, has experienced a revolution in the conduct of research. Partly because of the huge costs involved, a government contract becomes virtually a substitute for intellectual curiosity. For every old blackboard there are now hundreds of new electronic computers. The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present -- and is gravely to be regarded.
Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite.
President Eisenhower's farewell address, 1961.

And yet it is. Just tell your local professor you are a creationist. He’ll make sure you never make it far.
