The student government at Western Kentucky University on Tuesday voted in favor of giving free tuition to black students.
The school’s Student Government Association passed a resolution by 19-10 supporting slavery reparations for black students in the form of free tuition and free access to the public Bowling Green campus.
The resolution also recommends that the university create a task force to “assess the feasibility of test-optional admissions and geographically-weighted admissions,” claiming that some standardized testing poses a disadvantage for needy students and perpetuates inequality and “white supremacy,” The Bowling Green Daily News reported.

Heh-heh, are their parents going to vote to double their tuition payments so they can shoulder the costs of the black students attending? I don’t think so. And their white kids don’t belong in college if this is an example of their critical thinking skills. Absolute Kool-aid guzzling imbeciles.
Wait until these cats realize that they lost a job/interview to someone with a 10th grade education from a 3rd rate high school, with no college debt at all.
They’ll think about their “goodness” while serving as a barista at Starbucks and wondering how they’ll repay the $ 100,000 in student loans they owe.
Right?
Double the tuition on all non black students and let them learn how FREE works.
Your parents must be proud of you...why not make it free for Mexicans, Asians and Eskimos, too?

There was some university last year that voted to give descendants of a handful of slaves once own by the school free tuition. I'm guessing the school is confident they'll never have to pay out since half the descendants won't know who their ancestors were and the other half wouldn't be interested in a college education.

I doubt that there are many Asians at Western Kentucky-——and Asians don’t look for handouts.

They build Corvettes in Bowling Green. Are they going to give every Black Student a new Corvette too?
Nah, the University would open themselves up to legal liability and federal charges if they did.

Probably right and the result of that will be the utter worthlessness of a degree from this college.
How many times will a graduate from this school applying for a job have to hear, “Thanks for your interest in woming to work for us. We will get back to you” (NOT!), before they begin to “get it”
If gender is fluid, so is race. I hereby declare myself and all my relatives to be black and name myself the Ace of Spades.
We have that now with illegals. They get free rides and take desks from US students.
There are 9 black colleges in Texas. A couple of them were created in the 1870s. Senator Sheila “Don’t you know who I am” Jackson-Lee whined when her precious little prince was graduating from high school that there were none. All she had to do was look out her window to see three in and around Houston.
That’s what student loans are for.
Disagreeing. I don’t want a sliding scale tuition. Students can go after scholarships if they want help. Otherwise, stay out of my wallet.
Any black male over the age of 30 is referred to as “Doctor” so why not give them a piece of paper with PHD stamped on it.
Which will make any degree from the university suspect. A lack of admission standards is a red flag down the road.
