In 1910 Turkey had a population of roughly 7 million. With the Greek-Armenian-Assyrian Genocides they nearly killed a third of their own population. There population rebounded because they had repatriation agreements with former Ottoman countries.
Good point. When awards for genocide are given out. They should look at percentages of populations as well as absolute numbers.
