Liberal Trump haters couldn’t wait to bash the president for being mean and dismissing a child at the annual Easter Egg roll.
There’s just one issue.
They were completely wrong, yet again.
The brouhaha started after Politico posted a video that showed a youngster giving a “Make America Great Again” hat to President Donald Trump to sign, which he did.
It then appeared that the president flung the hat back into the crowd for any random fan to get, causing a frenzy of responses from mainstream and social media.
NBC Nightly News’ Micah Grimes posted video on social media from another angle that showed President Trump flipped it to the same young man who gave him the hat to sign.
If they will go to this much trouble to smear Trump for a tiny little action and lie about it, think about what they will do for the important stuff.
Liars lie...that is what they do.

Unfortunately, a lot of people fall for it.
Never remember such hate from the mainstream media of any other President.
The fake news is ramped, we all now have to question everything we read.
The MSM still doesn’t realize the tremendous push and contribution they gave the President to; election by its lies, misrepresentations, bias, and fake news. May they keep it up.

I saw this “news” on social media yesterday and didn’t think much of it, didn’t think it was a big deal but I also didn’t question it ... seemed plausible that Trump might do this (and really it would have been no big deal if he had).
But the thing that irks me is that it’s so small and insignificant, but they add up. They are building this narrative about him that he is flippant and callous (and maybe he is who knows) but you still STILL should not make up stuff about him every single millisecond that he is president.
I’m just so mad about the media lying constantly ... so much so that you could not possibly fact check everything they report from the stupid little stuff to the really important stuff.

The media is killing itself. There is nothing that any media says that I take as truthful. Where will this go, don’t know but it isn’t good.

In that video, it’s clear that the president did not throw the boy’s hat into the crowd. Instead, President Trump signed the hat and returned it to the boy by playfully tossing it to him. The original video angle was misleading, causing many to believe that President Trump had bullied the boy when he was simply engaging the crowd of attendees at the White House event in a routine way.

sadly, the original FakeNews story had already traveled around the world, not just the US, by the time Snopes corrected the story.

first of all, “frenzied” are the only kinds of responses you see from social media.
I have nothing but boiling contempt for big media. They're disgusting. They reek bad. Big media was bad pre-Trump. But in the past two years these people have been caught in so much caustic stink you can smell it coast to coast. Their ethics and professionalism are a farce, a biased political collusive charade. I don't like them at all.☺
My liberal son told me about this. He hates the media. On a side note, he also hates Mark Zuckerberg. He’s been living at home since college. He’s coming around to our way of thinking.

Now that I see the breathless coverage has turned out to be complete fecal matter, I am still not surprised.
I never thought about Trump very much before he started running for POTUS, even his token runs in the past.
Now that every damn negative story that has come out about him being proved false makes me think that this guy in real life is actually a real mensch.

Pay better attention... this is nothing new. What is new is this president has greater tools for going around the media filter.

That’s the only type of impression the “media” tries to present of Trump. This is just one of now hundreds of radical misrepresentations of Trump coming from the professional propagandists.

Sadly, I think the media and their deep state overlords are doing their dirtiest at all levels from tossed hats to things that affect vital national security.
The Media did not make a mistake in the sense they reported a false story. That they intended to do. They know these are enough morons who hate Trump, for reason they cannot name but they hate just the same, will believe the lies. This is the goal of the media to perpetuate the hatred of Trump. Facts do not get in the way of the lying media
