I remember that. It was the 2006 Bush Amnesty Plan that both Georgia Senators got on board with - probably multiple Georgia Congressman.

They got bitch slapped out of the stone age so quick by constituents they couldn’t spin fast enough. Both Chambliss and Isakson changed their tunes quickly, but I never believed them. They changed their tunes, but not their hearts.

It was so caustic for Chambliss that he knew was in for trouble and I feel that’s why he ‘retired.’ I am surprised that Isakson survived, but that may have been sympathy for his “Parkinson’s Diagnosis.” I STILL didn’t vote for him. Didn’t vote for the other one either, but I wasn’t gonna put my name and honor under his banner. He is a snake.
