Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly issued a stark warning Tuesday, calling the risk of a terror attack on the United States "as threatening today" as it was on 9/11.
Specifically, Kelly outlined the danger posed by homegrown terrorists and foreign fighters from around the world who have traveled to Syria and Iraq with plans to return home.
"The threat to our nation and our American way of life has not diminished," Kelly said during a speech at George Washington University. "In fact, the threat has metastasized and decentralized, and the risk is as threatening today as it was that September morning almost 16 years ago."

I’m trying to think exactly *what* the FBI was ever interested in, under Clinton and Obama.

No one resigned. No one complained. The old school patriots who would not hesitate to resign, in protest to treason and to evidence of sabotage going ignored, were long ago drummed out of the FBI.
Is Comey even now troubling himself to investigate himself and AG Loretta Lynch and Eric whatshisname, the first Attorney General, over their fascist assault on conservatives, on Fast and Furious, on setting up surveillance on unmasked friends, associates, and campaign workers for TRUMP? Comey is silent, dottering and foot dragging, when he isn’t on stage being arrogant and uncooperative about what he will and will not do.

I agree there are a myriad of crimes committed by the Clintons and Obamas that were just ignored. Obama just gave Hamas 221 million dollars before skipping the country. What the Hell? They’ll use that money to kill Jews. He also gave them almost a billion dollars just after he was voted in. No one in government cares.

Like that one movie I can’t think of the name but terrorists attack in large numbers in pretty much every state in the US. It’s not Red Dawn. It’s a crappier version of it.
Having worked for the gov. a long time ago, I know agencies release public info about their dire need to exist with more money at budget time. Intellegence agencies need to be streamlined and cut back severely since have been caught spying on political and social enemies of President Obama.
But be careful says Kelly! More danger than ever right now.

It was 4 planes (the one that crashed in Shankesville) but that’s beside the point.
The 19 or so attackers had backing, money, coordination etc...It was a large scale, coordinated attack designed to bring down big, visible targets.
What I’m talking about is nothing like that. The surveillance state created post 9/11 has prevented those large coordinated attacks (here, at least). What if the enemy adapts to performing a “day of rage” with a dozen random open air shopping malls had trucks-as-weapons attacks?
Even “small” places that don’t rise to the level of being cities have thousands of soft target spots like that. On top of the loss of life you’d have people fearful to go to the grocery store.
