I agree with you. Both Facebook and Google are behemoths that arose to global power and immense wealth in a very short time. Both have ushered in incredible evil: loss of privacy, the spread of pornography, live streamed murders, and the feeding of pride and vanity. I believe the prince of this world sanctioned their rise, and that serpent will use them both for the Antichrist's rise and his short (but brutal and horrific) rule.
