That’s why I never log into my Google account unless I am updating a Youtube video. And why I do not use my real name on any of my internet postings or accounts.
Google’s Motto: “BE EVIL” (Yes, that is what it REALLY is, and its been obvious for years now). A private Big Brother in league with the government.
It would be very interesting to see a rigorous fishing court case that would dredge out all the details about what Google has collected on us by name, social security number, address, IP address, MAC address, and other individual items that can be tracked to us. How they are linked and indexed. I bet the details of that would be sobering. Problem is, short of turning off the computer, phone, and tablet, we are caught, tracked, and documented. I don't think the laws protect us sufficiently, don't require disclosure, Google and others hide behind T&C that no one reads, can read, no understand. About the only time we'll know about or suspect what has been gathered about us is when it is used against us by an employer, by a court, by the government.
Being in business, I don't have that luxury. Wish I did sometimes, but ah well. Cost of doing business.
