.....defenders of science education and policy like Bill Nye, née The Science Guy, are more important than ever, dropping knowledge on children and Tucker Carlson alike. So the timing of his new Netflix series could....
...Bill Nye Saves the World most closely resembles a late-night talk show. There are funny-ish demonstrations from the host, panel discussions...
....thats all well and good, but Bill Nye Saves the World is first and foremost an entertainment, and on that level, its less successful. The shows major issues stem directly out of the format, which leans heavily on Nye to be both an educator and comedian. And he was never Billy Nye the Funny Guy. Not just anyone armed with a team of comedy writers can jump into a hosting gig with the expectation of striking the same info-laughs ratio as someone like Samantha Bee....

I enjoyed Bill on Almost live.
Since he became the Global Warming Guy, he’s not only not funny, but he ALWAYS comes across as “mean” right down to the look on his face. He is the quintessential angry, arrogantly ignorant leftist.
It’s all a matter of perspective. I though he embarrassed himself so badly on Carlson’s show he would go into hiding. The left honestly believes he hammered Tucker. I mean, whatever.

There was a time when the Dhimmicrats said the EXACT SAME THING about ElRushbo.
I call him Bill Nye, the sellout guy. He is just a male wh@re for the GW agenda.
I noticed the same thing too. Haven’t watched him since.
Firing up my ‘Amy Schumer Thumbs Down’ clicker for April 21st (when this show starts on Netflix)

I wonder if the author sees the problem there. Once science gets tied to policy, science loses its independence and so ceases to be science.
Bill Nye is a homosexual and he does not have a Ph.D
He is filled with radicalism, anger and fear. He resents human life.
This nut job was on Tucker Carlson recently and there were moments during their “discussion” when I thought his head would literally explode trying to answer the question. He was totally Tuckerized.
My jury is still out on the new MST3K. Am a big fan of the original.
Trump hater Patton Oswalt is in the cast, but he wasn’t used much in the first episode.
His Science Guy show, was really informative, for kids.He drank the liberal Kool Aid however and metamorphized into an AZZHAT.
More “must-miss” television.
“I enjoyed Bill on Almost live.”
Ahhh, you are probably one of five people who remember that show. Be like billy still makes me giggle and I occasionally watch all of those skits. Though yes nye was way more entertaining then.
I remember one of the very first episodes. The main host (Ross Shafer) was interviewing people checking out at this new, really big store. The show was making fun of it because you could buy groceries and tires. He’d interview people at the checkout counter with a full grocery cart and say something like, “Did you remember to pick up tires today?”
The name of this new upstart was Costco.
BTW, I was doing Karaoke at the BullPen Tavern about 18 years ago one day and Ross was there with his girlfriend. He said that he lived in LA and was working in a show down there and they were at the Bullpen because his girlfriend said it was the best karaoke in the Seattle area. At least at that time, she was right. Mike was an amazing KJ and is still doing it - and is still my friend even though I now live in KY.
Haven’t thought of that show in years. Wow.
“Entertainment Weekly” is basically “Tiger Beat” for middle aged gay men.
Didn’t Nutflex change the way subscribers can rate programming and films since it was tainting all liberal show ratings?
Are they still giving away subscriptions at Best Buy with any purchase do you’ll know what “is hip”?
