I could not agree more with everything you posted. Particularly the part about “what's in their book.” Islam sets itself apart from every other “religious group” on the planet by openly calling for the rest of us to “join up or prepare to be killed by it's believers!”
My comments were only to point out that while Jews have been at the forefront of almost anything you can think of, they seem unwilling, as a group to call out those of their number who besmirch the good name of Judaism. For me, it doesn't pass the smell test to let them off the hook by simply saying that “ they aren't really Jews!” Of course there are those who subscribe to Modern Judaism who say that being Liberal is what Judaism is really all about. Then again, Catholics, Mormons, you name it, do some of the same things and expect a pass as well. So I've long ago given up on "organized religion," because there are too many hypocrites among those who are a "this or a that," and they look down their noses at anyone who isn't "one of theirs!' That said, I still have a belief in God and I try to live my live in accordance with His Principles.
